2021 European Trophy

After almost 21 monthes without international competition because of the covid 19 pandemy, the first European Trophy of Villers-Ecalles (Normandy, Frnace) has been organised by the Pédales Varengevillaises on 4^th & 5^th of September 2021 on the pitch of Villers-Ecalles, France.

Eight teams have played this tournament in 2 X 20 minute matches:

the Bolbec Nointot BMX (France),
the Entente d'Ile-de-France (France) made with players from the Paris C.O. and the U.S. Alfortville,
the Oakenden Bike Polo "Oakenden" & "Belles" (United Kingdom),
the Parisis Athletic Club 95 (France),
the Pédales Varengevillaises 1 & 2 (France),
and the V.C. Frileuse-Sanvic (France).

A victory gave 3 points, a tie 2 points, a defeat 1 point and a forfeith 0 point.
If, after all matches, two teams had the same number of points, the decision between both teams would have followed the conditions below (in order of priority):

their match result

goal-average between teams involved in the tie and the highest ranked team not involved in the tie (basically, the winner of the tournament if not involved in the tie)

goal-average between teams involved in the tie and the second ranked team not involved in the tie (basically, the second of the tournament if not involved in the tie), etc.
