2006 York Cycle Show |
The first York Cycle Show International Tournament has been organised by the Johnstone W.C.C. in June 2006 on the York racecourse during the York Cycle Show (United Kingdom).
Four teams played: Dublin Phoenix (Ireland), Johnstone W.C.C. "A" and "B" (United Kingdom) and the Oakenden Pedallers (United Kingdom).
All teams met the others in a round robin followed by finals.
A victory
gave 3 points, a tie: 2 points, a defeat: 1 point and a forfeit: 0 points.
If, after all qualification
matches, two teams had the same number of points, the decision between both
teams would have followed the conditions below (in order of priority):
- their match result
-
overall goal-average
- number of goals scored
- number of goals lost
to the opponant.
