2018-19 Initiation Bike Polo Challenge of Ile-de-France

The eight edition of the Initiation Bike Polo Challenge of Ile-de-France has been held on two legs organized by the Parisis A.C. 95 at Le Plessis-Bouchar on 8 December 2018, by the Paris C.O. on 19 January 2019 in Paris and by the U.S. Alfortville on 9 February 2019 in Alfortville. 1^st leg - 6^th Le Plessis-Bouchard Tournament (8 December 2018)

The Parisis A.C. 95 has organized at the Ebats stadium in Le Plessis-Bouchard (Oise Valley) the first leg of this challenge dedicated to beginners in bike polo. Too few beginners came (two players form the Paris C.O. and two others from the Parisis A.C. 95). This is why the experts from  the Parisis A.C. 95, the U.S. Alfortville (Val de Marne), the U.S. Métro Transports (Paris) and the Paris C.O. played a 60 minute match with the beginners.

2^nd leg - 3^rd Paris Tournament (19 January 2019)

The Paris C.O. has organized at the Pershing stadium in Paris the second leg of this regional challenge dedicated to beginners in bike polo. The referees came from the Paris C.O. and the C.S.M. Puteaux. This challenge was open to beginners in bike polo from 8 years old player to adults.

Five clubs were there: Paris C.O. (Paris), Parisis A.C. 95 (Oise Valley), U.C. Montoire sur le Loir (Loir & Cher), U.S. Alfortville (Marne Valley) & U.S. Métro Transports (Paris).

The 6 teams played 2 X 7 minute matches.

The six teams have been divided into two groups of three teams each:

group A: Paris, Parisis & Montoire,
group B: Alfortville, Montoire-Parisis & Métro-Paris-Parisis.

The firsts, seconds and thirds of each group played then direct finals.

• final for the bronze medal: Montoire / Montoire-Parisis : 0 - 4

3^rd leg - 8^th Alfortville Tournament (9 February 2019)

The U.S. Alfortville has organized at the Val de Seine stadium in Alfortville (Marne Valley) the second leg of this regional challenge dedicated to beginners in bike polo. The referees came from the Paris C.O. and the C.S.M. Puteaux. This challenge was open to beginners in bike polo from 8 years old player to adults.

Three clubs were there: U.C. Montoire sur le Loir (Loir & Cher), U.S. Alfortville (Marne Valley) & U.S. Métro Transports (Paris).

After an introduction to cycle polo for Alfortville beginners, the 4 teams played 2 X 10 minute matches.
