2018 Devon Tournament

As second leg of the 2018 European Cup, the 1^st Devon Tournament has been very well organised by the Oakenden Bike Polo on 23^rd & 24^th of June 2018 on the pitch of the Rugby Club in Noth Devon, England.

Nine teams have played this tournament in 2 X 15 minute matches:

a mixed team North Devon Bike Polo - Cirencester Bike Polo (United Kingdom),
the Oakenden Bike Polo "Oakenden", "Amazons" & "Belles" (United Kingdom),
the Parisis Athletic Club 95 (France),
the Pédales Varengevillaises 1 & 2 (France),
the Radler-Club 1913 Wendelstein e.V. "Polonauten" (Germany)
and the V.C. Frileuse-Sanvic (France).

A victory gave 3 points, a tie 2 points, a defeat 1 point and a forfeith 0 point.
If, after all matches, two teams had the same number of points, the decision between both teams would have followed the conditions below (in order of priority):

their match result

goal-average between teams involved in the tie and the highest ranked team not involved in the tie (basically, the winner of the tournament if not involved in the tie)

goal-average between teams involved in the tie and the second ranked team not involved in the tie (basically, the second of the tournament if not involved in the tie)

etc.
