France's team, made with same players as in 2002 and 2003, represented the French Cycling Federation (F.F.C.) in the 7th International Bicycle Polo Championship held in Vancouver by the Jericho Cycle Polo Association (British Columbia, Canada) from 3 to 7 August 2004.

Six teams played in Vancouver : the Canadian Jericho Cycle Polo Association (winner in 2002 and 2003), India A & B (winner in 1996, 1999, 2000 and 2001), the American Bicycle Polo Association from Richland (runner-up in 2003), France (3rd in 2002) and the Californian San Diego Bike Polo Club.
Each of the six teams had to play with each other in one match. A victory gave 2 points, a tie 1 point and a defeath 0 point. Forfeit wasn't forseen and, as such, gave 0 point too. Final result had been established counting number of points for each team.
