24-29 November 2003 - Vero Beach, Florida, U.S.A.
Two French teams, the France team (national selection) and the E.S. Gervais-Lilas, represented the F.F.C. in the 6th International Bicycle Polo Championship in Vero Beach (U.S.A.) between 24 and 29 November 2003.
France: Didier Derly (E.S. Gervais-Lilas), Jean-Michaël Languille (V.C. Frileuse-Sanvic, captain), Jean-Pierre Malandain (V.C. Frileuse-Sanvic), Julien Lassère (A.S.C. Pessac Alouette), Alex Lesca (President of the Bike Polo Commission in the F.F.C.), Stéphane Malandain (V.C. Frileuse-Sanvic) and Stéphane Paris (P. St-Pierre de Varengeville). |
E.S. Gervais-Lilas : Pascal Siméon (from the Pédales Varengevillaises), Daniel Derly, Alain Derly, Jérôme Singery, Thierry Malet and John Pelourdeau. |
Four teams went to Vero Beach: the Jericho C.P.A. (Canada, 2002 winner), the A.B.P.A. - Richland (U.S.A., 4th in 2001), France (2nd in 2002) and the E.S. Gervais-Lilas (7th in 2001).

Each team had to meet the 3 other
team twice. A victory gave 3 points, a tie 2
points, a defeat 1 point and a forfeith 0 point.
If, after all qualification
matches, two teams have the same number of points, the decision between both
teams would have followed the conditions bellow (in order of priority):
- their match result
-
global goal-average
- number of scored goals
- number of negative goals.
